The Bowman Skinner was designed with one purpose in mind: build a lightweight, dependable fixed blade made specifically for hunters.
 
When you're carrying everything you need on your back, every ounce matters. The Bowman was built to give you the strength and capability of a serious fixed blade without unnecessary weight or bulk.
 
The blade is made from 3/32" Pop’s Pro-Cut steel and finished with a thin full flat grind, giving it excellent slicing performance and control while skinning and processing game. The wide belly provides plenty of cutting surface, while the compact profile keeps the knife maneuverable and precise in hand.
 
At 7 3/8 inches overall, with a 3 1/4-inch blade, the Bowman is compact enough for long days and deep miles in the backcountry while still giving you the blade you need when the work begins. For weight it comes in at just 80 grams, less than a deck of cards!
 
A skeletonized full tang removes unnecessary steel from beneath the handle to reduce weight while maintaining the strength and reliability of a full-tang fixed blade.
The handle is made from rugged burlap Micarta, chosen specifically for the realities of hunting. It handles water, blood, dirt, and changing weather better than more traditional handle materials while requiring less care in the field. It also provides a secure, comfortable grip when conditions get wet and messy.
 
Every Bowman comes standard with a Kydex sheath, giving the knife firm retention, added security, and a low-maintenance setup that can handle hard use in the mountains. Kydex is easy to clean, weather resistant, and keeps the knife securely in place while hiking, climbing, and moving through rough terrain.
 
For those who prefer a more traditional setup, a handcrafted leather sheath upgrade is also available.
