Mason’s Signature Series is the result of months of planning, refinement, and long nights in the shop. Designed as Mason’s personal signature work, this project represents the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to detail we have ever put into a steak knife set. Every element was carefully chosen — from the Damascus patterns to the rare handle materials and the custom display block — to create a set that feels truly exceptional in both performance and appearance.
The blades are crafted from premium stainless Damascus steel forged by Vegas Forge, selected for its corrosion resistance, edge retention, and striking layered patterns. Each set includes four knives — two in ladder pattern Damascus and two in fireball pattern Damascus — creating a balanced collection where each knife has its own distinctive character while still belonging to a unified set.
The handles combine rare and striking materials that make every knife unique. Each handle features King Goncalo Alves wood, chosen for its strength, rich color, and dramatic natural grain. These hardwood scales are paired with genuine mammoth ivory, adding ancient character and individuality to every piece. A precision-fit stainless steel guard provides strength and a clean transition from blade to handle, giving each knife a refined and timeless appearance.
Each set comes with a custom magnetic knife block made from solid birdseye maple, built specifically for the Signature Series. The distinctive figuring of the birdseye maple creates a beautiful display while securely holding all four knives. The magnetic design protects the blades and allows the Damascus patterns and handle materials to be fully appreciated.
